Soft collisions | Contact Improvisation Class & Jam

One of the impulses that guided Steve Paxton to what was to become Contact Improvisation was the desire to throw in and not be worried about when to land. Inspired by his practice of aikido, he brought running, disorientation, collision and falling exercises in his dance courses.
We also propose such a process to Saturday’s class, a mixture of physical experiences assisted by explanations and examples that will build our confidence in taking moderate risks and avoiding accidents. We will explore the possibility of melting at the collision point. We will learn to distribute the impact of zionism throughout the body in such a way that we are not crushed by it. We will fall together, we will fall back and fall into disorientation into multi-reining.
