We invite you to take part in the Unmapping process, alongside the artists exploring new ways of unmapping the city, its gestures, rhythms, and relations.
The open doors moment unfolds as a participatory encounter where artists and participants share practices, reflections, and proposals emerging from their time together.
The event brings presentations, discussions, and performative micro-situations revealing how each artist — and the group as a whole — builds a practice of unmapping: ways of perceiving and imagining the city beyond its habitual grids.

Participants are invited to witness or take part, to offer interpretations and engage directly with the processes and materials developed during the residency. The open and fluid atmosphere reminds us that art is not only the outcome of a process but the process itself — a chance to collectively experience what it means to unmap: to suspend the ordinary and see the city and the body from a renewed perspective.
With Florin Flueras, Eliza Trefaș, Smaranda Găbudeanu, Traian Cherecheș, Diego Agulló and Martina Piazzi.
Unmapping Timișoara is a project by Sleepers, initiated by Florin Flueras, produced by PETEC, and funded by the City of Timișoara Center for Projects. It is carried out in partnership with Minitremu, Arte Factum Cultural Association, Indecis Artist Run Space, and SOMN.
